THE EMOTION OF BREASTFEEDING

When breastfeeding is going well all is right with the world when its not nothing feels right ask any breastfeeding mom.
How incredible is it to be the sole provider for a little ones full nutritional needs. WHAT RESPONSIBILITY What stress. What makes me think I can do this? I hear many moms say. If your baby is skinny, its because you are breastfeeding, its fat its because your breastfeeding, if its a happy baby its because your breastfeeding, if its a crabby baby, well its because you are breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding from the Heart

My new favorite "I starting breastfeeding for reasons of the head but continued for reasons of the heart" I have found this to be true so many times with breastfeeding moms. They start out breastfeeding because it is the right thing to do, not that they really want to.They know the benefits of breastfeeding, how important it is for their baby's well being, so the reluctantly agree to try it. And then something starts to happen as they put those tiny bundles up to breast they start to feel feelings they have never felt before. Many have feelings they never thought possible.The love, emotion the satisfaction start to creep in. They are loving in a capacity they never knew they had. Don't misunderstand this may not happen right away it may be hours, days, even weeks for some. But when it does the feeling is incredible. So many moms may have started breastfeeding for the benefits of "best for baby" but find best for mom also.
